Luis Carlos Jr. is a multidisciplinary attorney with experience in various areas, especially dispute resolution, corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
He has advised all types of clients in disputes on a wide range of commercial and civil matters, including corporate, family, bankruptcy, construction and commercial disputes, in different jurisdictions, from Hong Kong to New York. He has litigated in various venues, including civil courts and tribunals, national and international commercial arbitrations, both ad hoc and institutional, under the rules of the ICC and the CAM Santiago.
For his experience in these areas , he was recognized by Best Lawyers 2025 in the Ones to Watch category.
Luis Carlos Jr. has combined his litigation background with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as ongoing corporate law advice to various national and foreign companies.

· Advising a group of shareholders and employees of a well-known Chilean Unicorn in their disputes against the controller and CEO of that company.
· Advising a minority shareholder in its conflicts with the controller of a well-known Chilean beverage company.
· Advising a minority shareholder in its conflicts with the controller of a well-known international language company.
· Advising one of the parties in a complex family conflict over control of the family business, which has involved civil, criminal and family actions.
· Advising a well-known glass container producing company in its conflicts with its union.
· Advising a well-known glass container producing company in its actions against a well-known Spanish construction company.
· Advising a well-known Chilean construction company and its shareholders in the process of restructuring and renegotiating debts with its various creditors.
· Advising a family group in disputes over control of the family business, including civil and criminal actions in Chile and Greece.
· Advising a well-known French gas producing company in its disputes related to the purchase of a Chilean company in the same industry.
· Administrative Secretary in an international arbitration brought before the International Chamber of Commerce for an amount of US$12 million.
· Secretary of the arbitration tribunal (three arbitrators) in an international arbitration brought before the International Chamber of Commerce for an amount of US$37 million.
· Advising a multinational company specializing in dredging in an international arbitration against the Ecuadorian port authorities.
